Autumn Theme Week - Day 5 - Fall Skittles

Nothing to Disclose

Today's offering for the last day of Autumn Theme Week, a themed nail art week I'm participating in with some lovely blogger friends, is an autumnal skittles mani.

The easiest fall mani EVER is anything, topped with Nubar 2010. The color-shifting flakes in that one just scream fall to me.

It really pops over black.

For this one, I just did a skittles mani using (thumb to pinkie) Pure Ice Drive Me Crazy, Kleancolor Fashionista, Milani Dark Coffee, Wet n Wild Black Creme and Chanel Rouge Rubis.

Check out the other great Autumn-themed manis in the links below!

Autumn Theme Week - Day 4 - Gradient with Scattered Leaves

Nothing to Disclose

How can it be Thursday already? Today is Day 4 of the Autumn Theme Week I'm participating in with a few other blogger friends and I did a gradient with scattered free-hand leaves for you today.

I used Milani Jiffy Orange and Yellow Whiz to do a gradient and did leaves in Kleancolor Fashionista and Milani Dark Coffee with a detail brush. I really need more leaf stamps so you guys wouldn't be subjected to my "free-hand" stuff!

Please be sure and check out the great autumn manis in the links below! ♥

Autumn Theme Week - Day 3 Needle Marble

Nothing to Disclose

Today's offering for Autumn Week, a themed nail art week I'm participating in with some lovely blogger friends, is an autumnal needle marble. Actually, this is what I call a "toothpick drag" mani - it's more accurate. But it doesn't sound nearly as fancy. LOL!

This is another of my "Extend-A-Mani" posts, actually. You say lazy, I say extend-a-mani. Both are accurate. Ha!

I was wearing Chanel Rouge Rubis already so I layered one light coat of a sheer-ish orange crelly (Pure Ice Drive Me Crazy) over it and let it dry.

Once dry, I painted striped length-wise, orange in the middle, green (Kleancolor Fashionista) on one side and brown (Milani Dark Coffee) on the other, and while still wet, took a toothpick and drug it back and forth sideways through the polish. I followed up with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top top coat. Kinda hard to mess up, even for me!

What do you think? Have you tried this method before?

Be sure and check out the great Autumn manis from the other bloggers in the links below! And check back here every day this week for new autumnal manis!

Autumn Theme Week - Day Two Autumnal Gobbler

Nothing to Disclose

Today's offering for Autumn Week, a themed nail art week I'm participating in with some lovely blogger friends, is an autumnal Thanksgiving mani. The first thing I think of when I think of Autumn is the harvest and Thanksgiving feasts. So I used Fall colors to create a little turkey.

I started with a semi-ombre...

And finished up with some feathers...

As you can see, it's free-handed (LOL) with a striping brush.  What do you think? Are you getting into the Fall mood yet?

I'm starting out that way every morning with temps in the mid-50s but by afternoon it's in the 90s and I've lost it again.
