The Digit-al Dozen Does Food: Yeah, Toast! And a Diner Hop

Welcome to the grand finale of Food Week here at the Digital Dozen. We had an idea do do something a little off the rails today for our big finish. So, Welcome to the Digital Dozen Diner. Please look through our menu and check out what our chefs have in store for you today!

As you can see, all our chefs have their own diner food specialty cooked up for today. Mine is toast. I did love toast. Until I had to try to put toast on my nails. I may or may not have called toast a few names since then. Toast.

YEAH, Toast!

I used a base of Faby Violet Cookies (purchased by me) and acrylic paints for the rest.

It's Friday Eve!!! Today I have some wine and cheese for you.

The ring and pinkie nails were inspired by a mani Sarah over at Chalkboard Nails did: Mario Batali's Orange Crocs.  And the wine and cheese, well they just seemed to go with the theme and the chef's jacket. I used a base of Zoya Ana (sent for review) on the index and middle and salon Perfect Sugar Cube on the ring and pinkie. Finished off with Zoya Matte Velvet top coat (purchased by me).

Bonjour!

Today I thought some popcorn might be appropriate given the abundance of "grabs popcorn" memes that tend to get posted in Facebook groups when there's *gasp* DRAMA! So my nails are ready.

For this manicure, I used a base of Salon Perfect Sugar Cube and the rest was done using acrylic paints.

Oh and Big Brother is on tonight. Gotta have popcorn for THAT! (yes, I like Big Brother. Stop judging!)

Pizza Nail Art

There are bound to be overlaps during theme weeks. I mean can you imagine the Doctor Who manis for "Fandom Week?" Food week is no different! Quite by accident, several of us did pizza, because WHY NOT? I mean, it's pizza. So we are all posting the same day - a Virtual Pizza Party!

Meanwhile, here's mine...

I used Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Universal Loner, which debuts in the Crème à la Mode Box later this month (sent for review) on the index finger and Zoya Ana from the Zoya Naturel Satins Collection (sent for review). The rest is done with acrylic paints.

Now in real life, I'd never have anything green on my pizza. I have the palate of a picky 5 year old. But it's virtual! Heck, I should have put mushrooms on that puppy! Something else I'd never ever eat. Fungus. That's a great big ol' nope.

Always Take a Banana to a Party!

I've missed a few months of The Digit-al Dozen, my FAVORITE themes, too, which was a bummer. And I'll admit I was NOT excited about the food theme. So to make it fun, I'm starting out Day One with a "fandom" mani AND food. Cheating? I think not.

Okay, so I'm a bit out of practice. But still fun!

I used Zoya Ana from the Naturel Satin Collection as my base (sent to me for review) and acrylic paints for the lettering and the banana. The keyring is from First Sunday Handmade (purchased by me).
