Tonight I have the new Darling Diva Ho-Ho-Holiday Collection for Winter 2015 for you! I have to admit, I've not been in much of a holiday mindset lately. Not my favorite time of the year really. But I do love being home where I belong and I have a feeling when it finally feels like Winter I will be blaring Christmas music and rocking Christmas manis like nobody's business! Wearing these really helped.

Today I have a new collection that launched a few days ago from Darling Diva Polish to show you called The Pageant Collection. This collection was inspired by the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous and the names are, well...different? LOL!

I censor my blog pretty heavily so here's how we're going to do this. I've put the names of each polish ON the collage below so they're not in my searchable text. Darling Diva has just released two new collections: the Diamond Holo Collection and the Opal Collection. Tonight I have the Diamond Holo Collection for you. These are all highly pigmented tightly scattered holographic polishes. These could all be one-coaters if you're careful I think (I used two coats for all of my swatches though) and they're also good for stamping! I tested them briefly and even though I still suck at stamping, these will be good.

Tonight I have a very special polish to show you - a custom for my birthday!!! From none other than Darling Diva Polish! Why are you showing me this when I can't buy it you ask? Well first because it's too gorgeous NOT to show you and second, because even though you can't buy this, you can WIN IT! I have 3 extra bottles that Darling Diva sent me just for my huge birthday giveaway. The giveaway hasn't started as I write this, but I plan to get it up and rolling either tonight or tomorrow morning.

The name. NO, I didn't name it - I figured it was best to leave the creating to the creative genius. I told her I loved the color violet, holos and micro-flakes and VOILA! Tulips on an Organ was born!

Yes, I said Tulips on an Organ. No, I didn't get it at first. But now that I DO get it, I can't UN-get it - hahaha!

Tulips on an Organ is a tightly scattered holographic gorgeous purple violet with micro-flakes and it's stunning. Two coats of creamy perfection. No issues at all. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! Okay okay, it's a few weeks early but still!

Happy Monday!!! This morning I have a special polish to show you - Darling Diva Polish Denim Mitten, which I WON from the lovely Jen over at Jen's Nail Files...one of 12 lucky winners of this Darling Diva Exclusive, made just for the contest.

So unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to purchase this one, but it should give you an idea of the creativity and beauty of her polishes, so be sure and head over to the Darling Diva Etsy Shop and check out her other lovely polishes.

Formula and application were perfect. It's a complex blue shimmer glitter polish and I love the little magenta circle glitters - you'll just have to see the photos...

Darling Diva Polish - Lucky Star

I'm back again with another lovely polish from Darling Diva Polish - Lucky Star! This one is from her Madonna Collection and was inspired by the song of the same name.

Darling Diva Polish Lucky Star

Lucky Star is black and neon green stars along with neon pink glitters in a sheer white crelly glow in the dark base that also glows under black light. I had no issues with this one. I didn't have to dig for the stars or do any dabbing - I just watched what was on the brush as I went. (NOTE: As with all glitter polishes, I use a toothpick to drag down the sides and across the bottom to "float" the glitters before use.) One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. I didn't do the best job at capturing the glow-in-the-dark or black-light properties, but you can still get an idea. I layered Lucky Star over alternating Zoya GieGie and a plain white creme base for the photos.

Tomorrow's Monday (huge, heavy sigh) so I thought I'd make mine a little brighter with Darling Diva's Material Girl! I was in high school in the 80s so this brings back memories. Okay, okay, I was already out of HS when that song came out but still...

Darling Diva Polish Material Girl

Material Girl is a barbie-pink jelly polish filled with large and small hex glitters in pink and silver holo - inspired by the pink theme in the 80s Madonna hit video of Material Girl.

I used 3 light coats of this one and had no issues other than digging some of the larger glitters out, which is common. The formula was nice in that it let the polish build to opacity without getting that "clumps of gooey glitter" look. I used one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

Are you ready for another holographic polish? Well if you're me, the answer is "ALWAYS!"

Today I have Darling Diva Polish's Bitchcraft to show you.

Darling Diva Polish Bitchcraft

Bitchcraft is described by the maker as follows:

This has color shifting glitter like you have seen in the elytras. The shift is from blue to red. I have these lovely glitters swimming in a dark charcoal linear holographic jelly! This is best at 3 coats on its own but can be layered over black if you are into conservation like me.

I chose to wear this one alone. I used 3 light coats and I have photos with and without top coat. Top coat didn't diminish the linear holo effect at all. No issues at all with formula or application.
