Clarins 227 Red - Swatches and Review

Mondays sometimes call for drastic measures. You just know you're going to need to pull out the big guns right from the start - enter Clarins 227 Red. I swear it channels Joan Crawford. Not the real-life Joan. The tough broad persona from Mildred Pierce Joan Crawford.

When I wear this, I stand a little straighter and emit some sort of "I'll kick your butt if you so much as..." signal. And being just barely over 5 feet tall, I need that feeling every time I can get it!

It has almost a jelly-like feel to it (maybe it's a crelly?) but it goes on smooth and opaque in two coats. Photos are with 2 coats and no top coat.
