Darling Diva Polish
Shades of a Diva
Llarowe Exclusives - Summer 2014

There's a little something for everyone - crelly glitters, glitter toppers, glow-in-the-dark polishes, linear holos, multi-chromes...

Continued after the jump...

There are a LOT of photos, so grab a cuppa and settle in...

I think with this many, alphabetically is the way to go.

Beautiful is a sheer-based glitter that can be worn alone in 3 coats or layered over any base color. Here I have 2 coats over black, 2 coats over Glam Beauty School Dropout and 3 coats alone on the ring and pinkie fingers. The glitters and shimmer are plentiful and perfectly suspended. The base isn't too thick or gloopy so using 3 or even 4 coats doesn't get too thick on the nail. No issues to report.

Demure is a sheer-based shimmer/glitter polish that glows in black light. I've used 2 coats with top coat but I suspect it would look good over a light/pastel base color as well.

Exuberant is a white-based crelly glitter with circles in purple, magenta, aqua, coral, light blue and yellow and lots of micro-glitter in translucent and all the other shades. I've used two coats of this one with one coat of top coat. No issues to report.

Innocent is a rosy pink holo with a definite coral arc. Perfect formula. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos. No issues at all.

Lustful is harder to describe. It's a holo, shimmer, metallic flake foil-ish multi-chrome. Hahaha how's that for a description!? It's predominantly navy blue with purple, violet and even copper/gold shifts. The formula and application were great. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

Naughty is a crelly with a deep blue base and loads of micro-glitters in blue/teal and violet that shift to green, magenta and copper/gold. This one has a base that's a  bit thicker than the others so I'd probably just layer one coat over a dark blue or black base next time. This time I've used 2 coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

Provocative is a blue-leaning teal with a violet flash and so many personalities that I have far too many photos of this one for you in an attempt to capture everything it has to offer. This one is my favorite of all 12 polishes and I think you'll see why. Two coats without top coat except where indicated on the photo itself.

Mid-day indirect light - the purple really comes out in cooler shade lighting...

Late afternoon indirect light - here the grey tones come out to play...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Salacious is a red-mauve holo with a violet purple arc and copper flash that makes it appear berry in the light and a coppery rose in the shade. There are also magenta flakes that only show up in the shade. Perfect formula. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

Silly is a slightly tinted glow-in-the-dark glitter polish. It has hearts and butterflies and flowers and squares and hexes and short bars, oh my!  I've layered this one (2 coats) over plain white on all but the thumb where it's over black so you can see the awesome blue and purple and violet shimmer better. It doesn't glow well over the black but over the white, WOW!

Voluptuous is a blue shimmer with a subtle holo and loads of antique gold flakes. Apologies for the blurry photos. I'm not sure what happened. Clearly the camera works me rather than the other way around. I've used 2 coats and one coat of top coat for the photos. The shade photos are much better than the light photos.

Wanton is an intense chartreuse green linear holo with gold micro-flakes. This green is amazing and appears to me to be one of those greens that goes well with both warm and cool skin tones. There's enough yellow in the arc for warm and enough blue for cool. Two coats with top coat (except where indicated in the photo captions).

Wicked is a deep grey linear holo with enough green and gold flash to come off as a great bronze-y shade. There is also a generous helping of antique gold micro-flakes. This one is my #2 pick. The formula is perfect. Two coats with no top coat for the photos.

Oh. My. Gosh. This collection is fantastic. Of course you know I'm not partial to glitters for myself, but I have to admit the color combo of the glitters in Exuberant, as well as the easy formula, definitely makes that my pick of the glitters. My top two favorites/must haves are Provocative and Wicked with huge nods to Lustful, Salacious and Wanton. Those didn't just speak to me, they SCREAMED my name. What are your picks?

I don't yet have details about the release date/stock date for these, but if you will keep a check on Llarowe's Facebook page, I'm sure she will give details in advance, as well as Darling Diva's Facebook page.
