Jindie Nails
Fall Chic Collection 2013
PREVIEW

Launching Thursday, October 3, 2013

The Fall Chic Collection 2013 consists of five new polishes: Rhythm and Blue, Breakfast at Tiffany's Cousin's, Midnight Rainbow, Shimmer Me Timbers and What Are You Smokin' Mirrors.

Continued after the jump...

Let's start with my favorite! Rhythm and Blue. This one is "a deep neon blue jelly with gold flakes and medium and small gold dots.  This dries to a satin matte finish." Yep, she nailed it. When I tried it on, I wasn't expecting that awesome "rubber" finish. The formula and application were terrific. Two coats. I have photos with and without top coat.

Without top coat...

With one coat of Poshe top coat...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Midnight Rainbow is "a black jelly with a rainbow of small, medium and large holographic and metallic dots." I used two coats of this one and one coat of Poshe top coat. The jelly formula was great and I had no issues. The circle glitters are plentiful and you might want to wipe off some of the glitters from your brush between brush dips. I used two coats and one coat of Poshe top coat.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Breakfast at Tiffany's Cousin's is a "teal crelly with matte maroon dots, lime green holo dots, matte blue dots and more." This one is really packed with glitter - you won't have any trouble getting plenty out on the brush, in fact, you might want to wipe off excess glitter with each brush dip. No issues to report. Two coats and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shimmer Me Timbers is an "emerald green jelly with gold, teal, magenta and copper glitters...and more."  I used two coats of this one with one coat of Poshe top coat. The formula was good, but I recommend maybe 3 light coats of this one and you need to wipe off excess glitters from the brush between each brush dip so the glitters don't clump together. It's packed!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What Are You Smokin' Mirrors (don't you just love that name?) is a light to medium grey with various sizes of circle glitters in silver, silver holo, gold and gold holo and some squares and micro-glitters - check out the macro to see what's in it. The trick with this one is to use 2 LIGHT coats. I got a little heavy-handed with it. The macro photo is with one light coat, so you can see how smooth it can be if you take care to do light coats. (Sorry!) I used two coats and one coat of Poshe for all but the macro shot.

You can see how smooth and awesome this one can be if you use light coats...

What do you think of these? Favorites? My favorite FAVORITE is Rhythm and Blue - I fell head over heels for that one instantly. I also love the grey, What Are You Smokin' Mirrors. It is the best shade of grey!

So what I've discovered is that they are jam-packed with glitters (WAY better than having to fish for them or not being able to get them to stick to the brush IMO) and if you take care to use light coats and check the brush between brush dips for glitter clumps, you will have an easy application and perfect finish on all of these.

Did you notice the new bottle size? These are 9mL (mid-sized) bottles and they're the perfect size. I really REALLY didn't like the minis, but these allow for a lower price while being large enough to actually hold onto the bottle properly AND for the maker to get the right mix of glitters. I loved them.

The Fall Chic Collection 2013 is launching tomorrow, Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 11 am CENTRAL time at her site here. They will be available as sets, individually as full-sized bottles and individually as mid-sized bottles. You can also follow Jindie Nails on Facebook for more news and information.

I'm not sure when these collections will be available on their stocklists, but Jindie Polishes are also available at  Llarowe and Mei Mei's Signatures and retail for around $10.00 per bottle for full size. Be sure and follow Llarowe on Facebook and Mei Mei's Signatures on Facebook so you don't miss out on special news and announcements.

Please note that the Halloween Collection 2013 will also be launching at the same time. See my swatches and review of those here.
