Rainbow Honey The Element of Magic - Swatches and Review

Back again this morning with another Rainbow Honey polish from the Equestria Collection - The Element of Magic! This is the one I really thought would be my favorite. So far, it's in second place only behind Mare of the Moon. I mean, c'mon...it's purple. I ♥ purple.

Dee describes The Element of Magic:  Several shades of purple and pink glitter, some holographic, some iridescent, a sprinkling of fairy dust all in a shimmery purple base with a blue shift.

It's that "sprinkling of fairy dust" that helps make this one special.

I'm showing it to you here with two coats over Illamasqua Velocity except on the ring finger where I've used two coats alone so you can see it on its own. I didn't have to "place" the glitter pieces or use the dabbing method. One coat of Poshe and it's smooth as silk to the touch. As always, I've used various lighting and blurring to try to capture how it really looks.

  4. My mom flew in for a visit this weekend so I showed her the collection in person. This one was by far her favorite, hands down. I haven't gotten to try it on yet, I'm STILL tinkering around having fun with "A Little Kindess" :P, but it looks great here! I'm impressed how well it carries itself on it's own.
