Part 2 will consist of Dutch Tulips, French Perfume, German Forest, Luck of the Irish and Sunshine in Cypress.

The descriptions on the Information Card above are spot on, so I won't bore you with re-describing them. Just a short note on each one as to number of coats, whether they're layered over a base color, etc.


DUTCH TULIPS - This one was sheer so I layered it over a nude base of Illamasqua Monogamous - one coat, no top coat.

Hebridean Sprite Travel Europe Collection Part 1 of 2

Tonight I have Part 1 of 2 parts to show you of a special collection to me. Hebridean Sprite has come out with their Spring 2013 Collection called Travel Europe. One of my favorite subjects. I love to travel and some of my favorite destinations are in Europe. And although I love to travel any time, Spring is when I get what I call "travel fever." I get it BAD!

So until I can plan another trip, I can wear these polishes inspired by some of my favorite places.

What do you think of the first five? Oddly, my two favorites so far are my two favorite places! Scotland is where I want to retire. It's the first place I think of when planning a trip. And if you've ever been to my pinterest boards, you know I have a mild obsession with castles. So Scottish Thistle and Romanian Castle are my favorites so far. And of course the fact that they're both holo didn't hurt anything. LOL!

Hebridean Sprite Beauty Chakora Beams - Swatches and Review

Good Morning!

This morning I have another Hebridean Sprite Beauty polish to show you: Chakora Beams.

I've previously posted a little bit about the company here but just wanted to mention again the cute little information cards that come with each polish. I love them!

Chakora Beams is a neutral silvery-white shimmer polish with little bits of beige micro-glitter pieces and I'm also seeing bits of ultra-fine blue sparkle too! Application on this one was smooth and I had no issues. I used 3 light coats and no top coat for the photos. The last 2 photos are showing one coat over a plain black creme.

I quite liked this one. I really can't wear a stark white polish and this one was very wearable for me. And just look what it does over black! What do you think?
