Color Club - The Uptown

*This product is Cruelty Free

This morning I have one of the new Color Club polishes to show you from their new Girl About Town Collection...The Uptown.

The Uptown is a multi-chrome flake polish in a purple-tinted sheer base. The flakes came out of the bottle easily and spread nicely on the nail. The flakes shift from copper to green to gold. No issues to report at all. One coat of Poshe top coat for all photos.

Continued after the jump...

One coat over plain black creme...

Three coats alone...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you think of this one? It reminds me of Nubar 2010 in that the color-shifts in the flakes are the same Autumn hues. But this one can be worn alone and has a purple-tinted base.

Color Club polishes can be purchased at local retailers nationwide and online at various e-tailers or on the Color Club site - prices range from $5.00 to $8.00 per bottle. If you order from Color Club's site, you can get free shipping on purchases of $30 or more. You can also follow Color Club on Facebook for more swatches, previews of upcoming collections and other information.

  1. Amazing! Is it me or it actually looks like even cooler version of Max Factor's Fantasy Fire?

  3. This would definitely be a lemming of mine if I hadn't already bought Layla Butterfly Effect. Have you tried it over blue or purple?
