Well I told you I would show you the fails along with the successes! So here we are. A Copy-Caturday Fail. The idea was fantastic and it would have worked out perfectly if I hadn't been in such an all-fired hurry.
I saw More Nail Polish's Clover Nails and knew I had to copy them for today. So I picked a few clovers and pressed them in a book I am reading just for this.
Here are her gorgeous Clover Nails.
And then today I saw Missy over at Gnarly Nails do another cute one using a real clover! See that here.
And after seeing those gorgeous ones, you will understand why mine is a fail. Illamasqua Smash on index and pinky and Illamasqua MILF on middle and ring.
You can see that it would have been great had I been a little more patient. Never one of my strong suits.
Thanks for stopping by - have a great rest of the weekend!

Such a bummer! I rush things, too. Can't wait to see you try something similar again!
ReplyDeleteI love this so much! It's amazing! If it weren't a barren wintery wasteland around here I might have tried it bc we have clovers everywhere in the summer. But we don't even have grass in our yard right now. Next year I'll have you mail me my fresh clovers so I can try this. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love this! I don't think it was a fail at all! ♥
ReplyDeleteThis is really interesting regardless of the failure! Will want to try this too! (:
ReplyDeleteThis is epic! No fail in sight, IMO. :)
ReplyDeleteYours is much better than my attempt. My clover pressed in an odd position so I cut the leaves apart and then placed them how I wanted them on my nail. They would not stay down. After a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche I ddidn't like the way it looked. Off it came.
ReplyDeleteIt came out really nicely :)
ReplyDeleteExcept for the bubbles in the top coat, I think this turned out really cute. Definitely not a fail!
ReplyDeleteIt's not a fail at all, just a little bubbly. I never would have though of using real clovers but I love it, especially on long nails like yours.
ReplyDeleteawww its nice sheila!! ty for the linkback! i hope you try it again, its really fun when you have the patience for it. which i don't. but i tried to have as much as possible when i did mine! if clovers could talk!
